Have you always wanted to paint but are not sure where to start? Or maybe you have bought all of the equipment, painted your first piece and was so embarrassed by it that you have hidden it all away in the loft and given up, but still deep down you want to paint? I am here for you. I intend to showcase the pieces I do and explain simply how I do them. My methods have worked so well for me, maybe you could give them a go, it might prove to be simpler than you expect!

019 'Hello Darkness, my old friend'

from the 1965 Song by Simon & Garfunkel, The Sound of Silence

New project today and carrying on with the song lyrics theme.

This will be "Hello darkness my old friend" from the Simon and Garfunkel 1966 hit 'The Sound of Silence'

Background is complete. Dark Storm clouds and a lonely hill top - Perfect!

I have tilted the artwork in this photo so you can see the stencilled Song Lyrics pencilled in and ready to paint
